I'm On A Mission!!

Many call me Coach FAA (from my full name Folake Adeniyi-Adeleye). I’m on a mission to get more women of colour (WOC) and other workplace minorities into the global C-suite so they are seen, heard & relevant and live the befitting life they truly deserve.

I work with senior level executives to develop their leadership skills, build their confidence, and navigate challenging assignments. I’ve helped plenty of female executives, business leaders, and high achievers accomplish their goals by helping them understand what’s holding them back, find their voice and develop their presence.

Some of my clients have included female executives, emerging leaders and high achievers in global corporations and conglomerates such as Standard Bank, First Bank, McKinsey, PWC, Total, British Petroleum, Dangote, Nestle, JTI, Reckitt Benkiser, ING, Diageo, Microsoft and the United Nations.

My coaching style is empathetic and action-oriented. I work with clients to identify their limiting beliefs, develop solutions, and create a plan of action to sustain their newly framed mindsets. Clients often say that partnering with me gives them clarity, helps them feel more confident such that they are noticed, recognised and many times promoted in their executive careers.

In successfully developing the right mindset and building vital skillset, I worked with female executives, business leaders and high achievers, as individuals and corporate clients to:

  • Get clarity on what’s keeping them stuck and how to make progress
  • Deepen their understanding of what makes them unique for increased confidence
  • Discover their purpose, find their signature voice and develop compelling presence that gets them seen and heard
  • Successfully land and transition into senior corporate leadership and board roles
  • Awaken the courage that gets them seen and heard in the C-suite so they inspire confidence in the minds of their stakeholders that they get the job done

Through my interactions with executive leaders, I gained a deep understanding of what it takes to be successful in the C-suite. It became clear that competence alone was not enough. To show up strong and stay relevant in global leadership roles, one needed continuous learning, flexibility, and adaptability.

Fun & Life Facts about FAA

  • I am an unapologetic foodie and culinary enthusiast; I travel not just for work but to explore cultures and to sample cuisines….no trip is complete without sampling local cuisines, or even better, going on a food tour

  • Flipping through the pages of my favorite style magazines or eating a sumptuous dessert is quite therapeutic for me.. Yeah we all have our weird side!

  • I thoroughly enjoy going on cruises. Aside from the bonding time with my hubby (and foodie/ enjoyment partner), Adeniyi and our two teenage daughters, that part when you are at sea and see nothing but water, totally refreshes and calms me. That’s my therapy!

  • I once lost my job and felt like a failure. That experience refined me and forms the very fabric of who I am today and shifted my work-life balance mindset to one of work-life integration.

  • My battle with adult acne taught me that recovering from emotional scars is a journey; our physical features good or bad must not determine our self-worth.

  • I have worked closely with more male executives than female. The professional tips, sometimes curt and straight-talking feedback from men have contributed to my strength of mind and fast-tracked my career success.

  • I have my own Coach. He helped birth Coachivate, still drills me and holds me super accountable.

  • I don’t plan to retire! I may slow down and manage my time and schedule better, but I will not retire from pouring out and impacting others!

I truly believe that people are extraordinary and I’m endlessly astonished by their courage, strength, and beauty.
